Sarah Beran
Meet Sarah Beran, a Los Angeles-based stylist and Co-Founder/Creative Director of Worldclass Clothing, whose remarkable journey through the fashion industry and personal life embodies resilience and purpose. Beginning her career in LA's vibrant fashion district and progressing through roles from modeling for Ford Models to PR for premier fashion brands, Sarah's professional path has been as dynamic as it is inspiring. However, it was her profound battle with colon cancer at the tender age of 34, amidst the chaos of a global pandemic, that truly redefined her purpose and vision. Facing the unimaginable with young children at home, Sarah's world was upended. Yet, in the face of adversity, she chose to fight, undergoing multiple surgeries and enduring the rigors of chemotherapy and radiation. This journey of courage, underpinned by faith, family love, and a warrior's spirit, led her to a triumphant cancer-free status, though she remains vigilant with regular screenings.
Transformed by her experience and driven by gratitude for her second chance at life, Sarah's focus shifted towards making a significant impact beyond the fashion runway. She became dedicated to raising awareness about colorectal cancer and emphasizing the critical importance of early detection through colonoscopies—a procedure that played a crucial role in saving her life. By co-founding Worldclass Clothing with her partners, Sarah has seamlessly woven her personal narrative of survival into the fabric of her professional endeavors. Today, she not only continues to set trends in fashion but also champions a cause close to her heart, aiming to save lives through style and substance. Worldclass is more than a clothing brand; it's a platform for advocacy, inspired by Sarah's story and her commitment to health, wellness, and empowering others to take charge of their wellbeing. -

Lauren Yerkes
Lauren Yerkes has spent her career shaping the fashion industry, dedicating 16 years to REVOLVE as the Chief Merchandising Officer. With a keen eye for trends, an understanding of what makes women feel confident, and a deep passion for curation, she played a pivotal role in building one of the most influential online fashion retailers. But in 2022, her life took an unexpected turn. Just three days before her 38th birthday, Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 37. Further testing revealed that she carried the BRCA2 genetic mutation, which had increased her chances of developing breast cancer to over 85%. This life-altering diagnosis forced her to reevaluate everything—not just in her
personal life, but in the industry she had devoted her career to as well.As she navigated the realities of surgeries, treatments, and the emotional toll of breast cancer, Lauren quickly realized a major gap in the fashion space, particularly in swimwear. While she had spent years curating styles that made women feel beautiful, she now found herself searching for swimwear that catered to women like her—those who had undergone mastectomies, lumpectomies, or other surgeries and wanted to feel confident in their new body. She recognized that sometimes, you don’t want the world to see your story before you’ve had the opportunity to share it and that realization led her to create POST SWIM, a swimwear brand dedicated to the breast cancer community, with an emphasis on scar coverage, thoughtful design, and
empowerment. On April 7th, 2025—her three-year cancer-anniversary—Lauren officially launched POST SWIM. This milestone was more than just the debut of a brand; it was a celebration of resilience, purpose, and a way to give back to the community that had supported her throughout her journey. With POST SWIM, Lauren is Making Her Mark by blending her expertise in fashion with her personal experience as a survivor, ensuring that every woman—whether she has faced breast cancer or simply seeks supportive, confidence-boosting swimwear feels seen, understood, and beautiful. We hope Lauren's story has inspired you as much as she has inspired us.
